If you love peace and quiet but need to be close to the city or the University of Texas, this property is for you.

Located near the 360 bridge in a prestigious part of Austin and offered directly from the owner. You can drive to a Whole Foods Market within about 20-minutes and down-town in about 25 minutes (please check Google Maps for accuracy). There are wonderful shopping and dining destinations such as the elegant Davenport Village or the upscale Aboretum within a few minutes drive. The sought after West Lake Village with its friendly community atmosphere and practical facilities is also close by. The area is a nature lover’s paradise – hike in the beautiful Wild Basin Reserve or Bull Creek Park, enjoy the lake, Mount Bonnell and more.

An enormous and very private wrap-around deck offers plenty of comfortable seating. Watch the squirrels scamper in the treetops and listen to the sound of songbirds. There is a view of the lake and downtown Austin through the trees from the dining area, a real wood burning fireplace and high vaulted ceilings. Large windows flood the home with light whilst energy efficient ‘honey-comb’ blinds and well-serviced air-conditioning keep it as cool as required. There are multiple desks to work from and the floors are wooden laminate or tile. The kitchen has black granite work surfaces and offers all the high-quality, modern appliances and supplies you would expect. There is even a Nespresso machine for great coffee.

The master bedroom leads straight out onto the deck. It boasts a king-sized bed while the other bedroom has a queen for an excellent night’s sleep. All guests receive brand new sheets and towels. The beds are high quality and the mattresses are new and firm.

Contemporary furnishings, largely from Crate and Barrel, along-side a few well-chosen antiques, artworks and classic books create a tasteful and functional space. Lots of tasteful touches so you can feel really at home. Everything you need, without any clutter.
