This beautifully restored Alki waterfront beach duplex is a piece of Alki history that s been carefully remodeled with state of the art upgrades, offering 1100 square feet of tranquility.

Located on a quiet street in West Seattle on a stretch of rare, private beach, watch seals and otters play as you drink your coffee in the morning, listen to the sound of the ocean with views of Mount Baker and the Space Needle in the distance. Cozy up with a blanket or book in front of the gas fireplace, and fall asleep to the sounds of Puget Sound from every room. Grill and eat outside as you watch seals, Orcas, and sunsets on the water or watch the moon rise in the morning over coffee. Bring your fishing gear and catch salmon in season off the deck. If you’re in the mood for food or fun, a variety of coffee shops, Zagat-rated restaurants, ice cream and more.

The master bedroom features a Westin king-size Heavenly bed and a huge closet with lots of hangers and plenty of space. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed with another large closet. Fresh linens, plenty of fluffy duvets and blankets at different weights are available to make sure you rest well.

The master bathroom has a large, step-in shower and the second bathroom has a tub for those of you who prefer bathing. There is plenty of soap, shampoo and towels for everyone.
A gas fireplace with beautiful tile is in the open concept kitchen/dining/living room area will keep you warm and cozy. Butcher block counters and stainless steel appliances allow you to cook inside, there is fresh coffee and a stocked pantry. The refrigerator offers ice and chilled, purified water.
Anyone who lives on Alki loves the ocean and the beautiful sea life. The beach house was redesigned to immerse yourself in all of it. Watch the beautiful Seattle sunsets every night and wake up to the sights and sounds of sea lions and bald eagles fishing for breakfast. Outdoor seating by the fire where you can watch for whales in season. Fish for salmon off the deck when the tide is high or just wander down the beach to all sorts of delicious restaurants and famous ice cream shops. The water is chilly but refreshing on a hot day. The beach is quiet but a 5-minute walk will take you to volleyball nets and picnic areas perfect for family gatherings, people-watching parties and more. You can also rent paddle boards and head out in the morning. Scuba divers frequent the water as well, there s lots to explore.

The duplex is on the small stretch of street with private homes on the water so there is plenty of quiet and privacy. Walk to Starbucks, Top Pot doughnut, Alki Beach cafe, Dukes Chowder house, Cactus, Pegasus Pizza, Pepperdock and so much more. Trader Joe s is a quick five minute drive up the street. West Seattle is one of the best communities in Seattle with lovely neighbors and charming upscale restaurants are minutes away on California Avenue for an elegant, romantic dinner.
Plenty of free street parking is available to you. The beach house has a separate entrance, and features a digital lock with your own numeric code so there s no need to worry about privacy or security. No need to carry locks, your code is your way in and out. Motion detector sensor lights are also installed to make sure you feel extra safe.
The unit is only accessible by a steep flight of stairs. It is your responsibility to ensure you and your party will be able to navigate them, the owner is not responsible for that.
While the unit is directly on the water, there is no direct access to the beach from the unit; a walking path is just a few seconds walk. It is critical to not leave your kids or pets unsupervised
The unit is in close proximity to our neighbors who have lived here for 40 years. Because we want to respect their serenity, we are not able to host large groups or entertain guests who plan to host parties in the unit. If you have a loud, boisterous party this rental is not for you.
